What is a good engagement rate?
Engagement varies hugely by platform and size: among 10K–100K-follower creators in SocialDB's index, TikTok averages 10.7%, X (Twitter) 11.39% and YouTube 2.61%. Bigger audiences engage less: rates fall steadily at every tier above 100K, so always benchmark against creators of the SAME platform and size.

Engagement rate = average likes + comments per post ÷ followers, computed per creator from public posts, then averaged per cell (cells with under 300 measured creators are hidden). Platforms without public per-post engagement (Twitch, podcasts, newsletters) are excluded. Check any specific creator free with the engagement-rate calculator.
