Here's a circuit implementing the proposed model. I built one scaled to a 50 ohm impedance and tuned to 14.1 MHz (#hamradio people will know why). This is clearly not precise construction (it's whatever close values I could get from my junk drawer for the capacitors, and scrap wire bent into coils for the inductors), but it resembles the ideal model (the 3rd harmonic Q is low).
