The Short Beekeeper✓ Add us as a preferred source on Google

I’m a new beekeeper based in the heart of North Yorkshire, documenting the highs, lows, and stings of starting my first apiary. From the lush gardens of Harrogate to the wild heather of the surrounding Dales, I’m on a mission to produce truly local, "bee-spoke" honey while learning the ancient art of beekeeping. What you can expect on this channel: • The Learning Curve: Follow along as I set up my first hives and learn the ropes. • Local Harrogate Nature: Seasonal updates from my apiary and the local Yorkshire flora our bees love. • Hive Inspections: Get up close with the colony as we check for queens, honey stores, and healthy brood. • Honey & Harvest: From the first flow to the final jar—real, raw, Harrogate honey. Whether you are a seasoned "beek" looking to share some advice, a fellow beginner, or just someone who loves local honey and nature, I’m glad you’re here. Hit Subscribe and join the colony!
