Welcome to South Texas Blacksmith. I’m a U.S. Army Veteran transforming scrap metal, railroad spikes, and leaf springs into functional tools and blades in Sandia, Texas. This channel is an authentic look at the grind. I am not a "Master Smith" hiding my mistakes—I’m a novice showing you exactly what it takes to build a small business from the ground up. You'll see the triumphs, the failures, and a whole lot of sparks. What to expect: 🔥 Knife Making: Turning rusty spikes into high-carbon blades. 🛠️ Tool Building: Forging the tools we use in the shop (Holdfasts, Tongs, Jigs). 🇺🇸 Shop Life: Restoring industrial machinery and managing a Veteran-owned business. Support the Shop: You can buy the knives and tools you see in these videos directly from my Etsy store: 👇👇👇 southtexasblacksmith.etsy.com Follow the Journey: Instagram: @southtexasblacksmith TikTok: @south.texas.blacksmith Facebook: South Texas Blacksmith
