Every day one thing gets looked up more than usual — an object, a place, a building, a piece of technology. Sidenote takes that thing and gives you the background the headline left out. A video runs about 35 seconds. It starts with the word "Sidenote:" and stops when the point is made. No intro, no outro, no host. What you will not find here: people, news, politics, conflict. This channel is about things. Every claim is checked against sources before it is spoken. Every image is public domain, CC0 or CC BY, credited where the licence asks for it. The voice is synthetic, and every upload is labelled as such. One video a day. If a day produces nothing worth saying, nothing goes up.
