Shot In Scene is a film-analysis channel dedicated to slowing cinema down—one scene, one shot, one gesture at a time. I’m not a film student, not formally trained in film theory, and not claiming definitive interpretations. I’m simply a cinephile—someone who loves movies deeply and pays close attention to what the camera actually shows. My approach is part close reading, part intuition, and part critical inquiry. I draw loosely from Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA)—examining how power, meaning, silence, space, and symbolism operate within cinematic language. Kubrick, Lynch, Buñuel, Tarantino, and others often hide meaning in what is not shown, in the implication, in the silent spaces between charged moments. This channel is an attempt to notice those things—to make them visible.
