My name is Sara Cuevas, and I am a character designer and illustrator based in New Jersey with a BFA in Animation/Illustration. I've had a love for cartoons, graphic novels, anime/manga, and art in general since childhood. After spending high school pursuing science, I decided to take a leap of faith and make art my career in my senior year. During my final year at Montclair State University, I illustrated and designed characters for my thesis film, animation collaboration short film, pitch bible, and various other projects (I was also involved in writing, animation, and storyboards). Throughout college, I have developed an affinity for Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop. When I'm not doing the art thing, I'm either reading my Bible, experimenting with different coffee recipes, or making guacamole. I hope you enjoy my work!
