Ourson crafts melodic electronic music where cinematic emotion meets atmospheric production, creating dreamlike soundscapes. Originally from France, Dimitri moved to Montreal a few years ago, where he created his music project Ourson—which means baby bear in French. His music explores themes of memory, distance, and emotional renewal. Ourson began releasing music independently with tracks like “Wish You Were Here” and “Follow the Feeling,” as well as an unexpected collaboration with astrophysicist Hubert Reeves. His record “Hideaway” was featured on the soundtrack of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. He recently released his debut album “Nothing Hurts Like Anything” on Beyond Records. With millions of streams driven by word of mouth, and playlist support, Ourson is quickly emerging as a breakout artist in electronic music.
