Our family has always wanted to live off the grid. We relocate to our 44-acre property, where we can start fresh. We already have a cabin on this property, and some road work completed. However, we still need much more infrastructure build to be successful. Our property is mostly uphill, which poses significant challenges in creating and building our structures. We will need to install a well for our off-grid water system, power source, garden, and food storage. Additionally, we plan to expand and multiply our animals for farming. We have experience raising goats and chickens, but we want to try raising pigs and establish a year-round greenhouse. Our goal is to have most of our food raised on the property and live a simpler life. We want to build quality buildings that make sense and support our family and animals.
