Channel under construction! The purpose of this channel is to share/disseminate information regarding the construction and operation of a wired home automation system. The emphasis being placed on safety, security, convenience and reliability while maintaining a simple to construct and economical design. While I am using what might be considered to be a "retro" computer, the digital interface and the procedural nature of the program should make the system controller easily portable to more modern hardware and software platforms. If adequate interest exists and personal conditions permit, I would consider posting schematics and programing examples at a future time. Perhaps on a dedicated site.
