Looking for beginner-friendly tips for growing vegetables, herbs & flowers in backyard gardens all year long? Welcome to Down-Home Backyard Gardening! I’m Chad, gardening in warm and sunny Zone 9B, Spring, TX. Here you’ll find seed-to-harvest videos, garden tours, winter and summer planting guides, cooking with homegrown ingredients straight from the garden, and honest lessons from my small suburban backyard garden. I also produce daily Bible devotionals starting in 2026, faith-based reflections on my other channel: Down-Home and The Word. I also produce a monthly coast-to-coast gardening collaboration featuring 12 gardeners across the U.S. and Canada. Whether you’re new to gardening, growing in a warm climate, seeking an uplifting channel, or looking for encouragement rooted in God's word with a love for gardening. This channel is a place to learn, experiment, grow, and find community. We encourage, support & lift everyone up! Let’s keep it down-home and keep it growing! 🌱✝️🌿
