Anze Iglicar (Proteus Noir) creates music for worlds that never existed. Working between analogue machines, cinematic sound design and electronic music, he explores the space where science fiction becomes memory and noise becomes emotion. His work lives between analogue machines and human emotion, somewhere in the space where science fiction becomes memory and noise becomes melody. Inspired by dystopian cinema, industrial culture, forgotten futures and human imperfection, his work combines analogue synthesizers, modular systems, distortion and immersive sound design to create sonic experiences that feel both familiar and unsettling. Whether composing for films, games, trailers or personal releases, the goal remains the same: to create atmosphere, tension and meaning in a world increasingly overwhelmed by noise. There is still something worth hearing beneath the noise: Not content. Not algorithms. Just sound with something to say...
