Shot on unceded Gunaikurnai Country on Blue Rock Lake. The lake is a 40-year-old reservoir that flooded a woodland next to the Tanjil River. "Tanjil" was the original Brataualung language word for the Latrobe River, which the Tanjil River is a tributary of. I was so privileged today to see Burrunan dolphins out on the water for the first time. In Bunurong Waters, there are only around 100 individuals of this species alive today, and this is the largest known population of them anywhere in the world.
