A little dog-friendly weekend getaway to Newport 🐾🌊 We packed up all three dogs and spent a few days exploring, walking by the water, finding dog-friendly spots to eat, and taking advantage of just how easy Newport makes it to bring them along. We stayed at @Newport Harbor Island Resort, which ended up being such a great home base with the dogs. The whole property is dog friendly, with tons of grass, amazing views of the water, and a gorgeous harbor walk that became our morning routine. Downtown

For over a year, we’ve been struggling to get Tiki comfortable going potty on leash or outside of our yard. We’ve finally had a breakthrough by switching up our morning routine over the past month. We had to build enough trust that he wouldn’t immediately go in the house if we didn’t rush him outside the second he woke up.
