Today I’m sharing some amazing books by one of my favorite authors: Brandon Sanderson. I’ve read a lot (not all) of his books, and I can’t wait to read these ones! The Reckoners is a YA sci-fi fantasy series about ordinary people who gain extraordinary powers and a shadowy group of rebels who want to maintain justice. Blightfall is the first book in a YA science fiction series that he cowrote with Janci Patterson and follows the legendary Skyward Flight as they undertake a deadly intergalactic

The Siren by Tomi Adeyemi is perfect for a fall read. It’s set on an atmospheric campus filled with secret societies, dark girls with darker pasts, and a cutthroat world where being accepted comes at a cost. Emery is excited to start her new life at Dartmouth. She’s trying desperately to hide her past and keep her scholarship, when all of her plans are derailed by a mysterious girl named Roux. Emery is drawn into the world of the Sirens, where power, beauty, exclusivity, and secrets reign supr

This cutie is now out in paperback, and if you haven’t started this series yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? I love everything Jasmine Mas writes, and this is the series that introduced me to her books. Blood of Hercules and Bonds of Hercules are out now and we are patiently (kind of) waiting for Battle for Hercules. If you want a dark, high stakes, adrenaline-filled romantasy set in a brutal world of gods, monsters, and Greek mythology, this is the book for you. It has gallows humor, the snarki

If you’re not reading the Harker Academy series by Kate Golden yet, what are you even doing?? It’s an urban romantasy that’s Cresent City meets Buffy meets The Vampire Diaries. Viv is a demon hunter attending Harker Academy for Deviant Defense, and she’s the ultimate black cat heroine. She’s snarky, a little mean, doesn’t trust anyone, and stabs first and asks questions later. I absolutely adore her. Her life if super stressful, because she not only has to hide her double life, but also needs to

The Emperor’s Enemy has become my entire personality. This is how you write an enemies to lovers romantasy!! Zora hates Tarantula and uses a shock collar on him (but he secretly likes it) and actively tries to get rid of him for the entire book. She’s unrelenting and vicious in her hatred and he loves every second of it. Tarantula is a blonde, tattooed villain who is deadly, completely unhinged, and so obsessed with Zora that he likes it when she hits him because it means she’s touching him. He

Happy pub day Helena Hunting! Mac Meyers Needs Me was the cutest book ever. I adore the Toronto Terror series, and I loved getting cameos of my favorite characters here. The Tilton University books give me everything I expect from Helena: hockey, a fabulous friend group, the best found family, and swoony romances, with the added fun of a college setting. Mac and Fee were absolutely adorable. They both just secretly pine after each other, but neither of them wants to ruin the friendship. When th

The Dark Lord’s Guide to Honeymooning (And Other Acts of Tyranny) by Tiffany Hunt is a cozy, dark fantasy romcom that is filled with villainous shenanigans and skullduggery, a misbehaving pink dragon, all the flirty banter, and a deliciously spicy romance. It was the perfect continuation of this series and I adored it! The Dark Lord Kazimir is an unrepentant villain and completely morally gray. But he’s obsessed with his wife, very possessive, and devoted to making her happy. He also kidnaps her

Happy pub day to this cutie! Hit or Miss by Elle Kelk checks all the boxes. ✔️Maxton Hall meets Off Campus ✔️Bookish wallflower x golden retriever ✔️Gothic university with no cell phones ✔️College soccer romance ✔️He falls first! ✔️Forced proximity ✔️Love triangle ✔️Dual POV He’s a player. And she’s the goal… Ethan Taylor is unbeatable on and off the field. Being the star of the Marshall College soccer team—and hot as hell—has its perks. But when tragedy strikes, Ethan flies straight out of So

Dante was so much fun. If you’re looking for a mafia romance to binge in less than 24 hours, this is the one. I’m fully invested in the Chicago Ruthless world and I couldn’t get enough of these characters. I need the next book, because I’m pretty sure I know who the love interest is going to be in Joey, and I can’t wait. It’s out in February, and I’m counting down the days! Also, this edition is absolutely stunning with a brand-new cover, floral sprayed edges, gorgeous endpapers, and exclusive b

Rejected was the perfect dark paranormal romance book. It was emotionally raw, and filled with gritty pack dynamics, primal magic, and a fierce outcast who uses her pain and rejection to reclaim her power and transform into someone to fear. Mera has been hurt, abandoned, bullied, and forced to rely on no one but herself for the last ten years. Her family is nonexistent and her pack has let her down, but all of that has only made her stronger. She is fearless and loves deeply, and is the sassiest
