Today happened to be Global Running Day, so I decided to run my first public 5K. The run itself wasn’t the biggest lesson. The biggest lesson was learning how much of running is mental. A lot of people focus on pace, distance, and speed. But if your mindset breaks, your body usually follows shortly after.
