If our generation does its job, then by the time our kids are celebrating the 300th, they'll look back on the decades between these milestones with admiration for how America faced ferocious challenges and once more drew nearer to its highest ideals. Who knows what the President meant when he said he loves the inflation - but it's clear that inflation keeps getting worse, while he stays focused on anything but the cost of living. This is an election year! He may not be on the ballot, but his protectors and enablers in Congress are. It's time to send a message.

I am not making this up: Secretary Rubio actually sat before Congress today and said “the war is over.” It’s a bizarre lie to tell when Americans know there’s obviously a war underway - not just from seeing it on screens, but from paying its costs every day at home. Leaders with this little respect for the American people have no business in office.

The Supreme Court has rolled back decades of hard-won civil rights progress. This decision will make Congress less representative for millions of Black Americans and others, and allow more politicians to pick their voters rather than the other way around. But this isn’t a moment to give in to despair - now is the time to take action and build something better: a truly representative democracy, capable of improving everyday life.
