On 25 February, the European Commission will decide on the My Voice My Choice European Citizens’ Initiative. 🫰 This is one of the largest feminist mobilisations Europe has seen in years. 1.1 million people have signed, calling on the EU to ensure abortion is safe and accessible across Europe. How the Commission, and Ursula von der Leyen, respond will to this mass mobilisation will tell us a lot about the state of democracy in the EU. ⚖️
