Hiking 85 miles alone in Lofoten Norway

A lot of my best ideas happen while I’m walking. The Sony WH-1000XM6 in Olive Gray from @SonyElectronics helps me find some quiet during travel days so I can keep thinking before I arrive. #sponsoredbysony #sonyheadphones

Hiking 100 miles Alone in the Peaks of the Balkans. In late May of 2026, I hiked over 100 miles in six days across three countries in the Balkans: (Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro).

@Helly Hansen Official I recently completed a 120-mile hike across the Peaks of the Balkans and relied on this Helly Hansen layering system throughout the trip. Hiking 80 miles alone in Scotland on the Skye Trail

Hiking 80 miles in 4 days on the Skye Trail in Scotland in late April

The perfect weather really made this enjoyable. I'd prepared for rain and wind, but luckily, there were no bugs either. It turned out to be an efficient trip. The road walks weren't much fun, but overall, it was better than the West Highland Way. I'm not sure if I'll find a better hike in the UK after this one.
