This is one of the parts of homesteading that we don’t take lightly. 🤍 There is so much love, care, and responsibility that comes with raising animals for our family’s table. From the day they arrived, we had the privilege of caring for these turkeys, watching them grow, and making sure they had a good life. Today, we load them up to take them to be processed, and while it’s never something we do without emotion, it’s a process we deeply respect. We believe there is something meaningful about kn

I get lots of requests to see our rabbit run, so I figured I’d share as we make some upgrades. Lining the ground with wire was on today’s list because Butter has been trying to dig any chance she gets. I didn’t want to completely deprive her of burrowing so I found a safe way to try and mimic a burrow for her. Stay tuned for the next part of this project!

You’re welcome 🐰

Our ducks officially got an upgrade. 🦆💦 We added a @poposoapsolar solar fountain and filter to our pond, and it’s made such a difference. The moving water helps keep the pond looking cleaner, adds oxygen to the water, and the ducks have been loving it. If you’ve been looking for an easy, solar-powered way to level up your pond, this is definitely worth checking out! Tap the link in my bio to shop yours ⛲️ #POPSOAP #POPOSOAPsolarfountain @Poposoap

I used these as an edible decoration on our Thanksgiving table 🦃

Those eggs actually made it into the house without cracking in my pocket! And for those who were asking when I shared to stories, one of our goats, Sasha, gets dry flaky skin during the colder months so she gets a Zinc supplement to help with that. As you can tell, she doesn’t mind her taking her vitamins.

When we were discussing getting a puppy we were anticipating all the messes, chewed furniture, and accidents. Instead we got lots of sweet moments like this 🤍

This is my very realistic night of solo parenting while my husband is working. Having a solid routine totally saves my sanity on these nights, but I definitely lean into easier dinners I know everyone loves, extra time in the bath, and extra snuggles even if it means bed time is pushed back a little. It really makes you appreciate the extra set of hands 😅 night time routine | bed time routine | goodnight | mom of 4 | solo parenting nights | realistic routine | mom life

There will never be enough of these mornings for me 🤍
