"I took this image up at Mt Rainier National Park near Seattle, WA. During the summer months, wildflowers bloom in large numbers in the park, and so I made my way up to photograph these colors one evening. This was peak sunset time, and as the rest of the state was probably experiencing a warm, glowing sunset, Mt Rainier was caked in heavy fog. I was initially focused on the landscape that has been formed over hundreds of millions of years, but was surprised by these two people sharing a special moment when trying to recompose to feature the sun.
