Most creative fields worship control. I understand the attraction. Control feels clean, professional, defensible. ⠀ But in my work, the moment after inoculation matters because I cannot command everything that follows. I can choose conditions. I can observe. I can intervene carefully. Then life answers in its own language. ⠀ What assumption about your own field did you have to break to do your most original work?
