Sometimes I can’t find a good quality frame, so I make them. This means and can do unique size if required. This is a 15x30” I put sand underneath but not under the blue. This way it gives the sense of depth. @TotalBoat fathom resin #watersculpture #tropical #paradise

It’s not a new experiment but it’s the first time I’ve tried it on a water sculpture before. Spray paint in winter is never fun. Indiana weather is always up and down. It was the last warm day for a while. It was a lovely 65f on the day I did this experiment, the next day was in the 20f. While it was warm it was a little too wind for my liking but I had to make do. I think I could have gotten better results without the wind. Once I removed the excess spray paint with water, I added a thin laye

Playing with bubbles 🫧 Before starting with the experiment, I needed to make sure the uv resin would adhere to the water sculpture. Then I could start adding the white uv resin. I went a little thicker at the beginning, which made the foam more opaque. Half way through the process I had the idea to add a little less and spread it out more. Which made the foam more transparent and you could see the water more. I used a normal dish soap product to create the bubbles. I had fun making big and sm
