YOU MAKE THE CALL Add us as a preferred source on Google

Every Saturday, Baseball Nation Network puts you in the dugout for three real managerial decisions from 1901 to the present — and hands you the call. Host Jack Mercer sets each one exactly as the manager had it: the inning, the score, the outs, the baserunners, who is on the mound, who is left on the bench and in the bullpen. Nothing the manager did not know. Then the realistic options — and the question: what's your call? Vote on the episode page at Baseball Nation Network and see how the rest of the nation voted before you reveal the manager's call. Then Jack tells you what he actually did, what happened next, and whether the reasoning held up. A brilliant result does not automatically mean a brilliant decision, and a disaster does not automatically mean bad managing. Legendary postseason gambles, forgotten regular-season hunches, and moves fans still argue about a century later. Every situation is documented and sourced on the episode page. Jack Mercer is a fictional broadcaster created, written, and voiced by Baseball Nation Network. He is not a real person and is never presented as such. The games, the situations and the decisions are real. New episodes every Saturday at 4 AM ET. About 15 to 18 minutes.
