Every wedding has a story, and every story has layers you don’t see in the highlight reel. The Wedding Edit takes you behind the vows, the chaos, and the magic of South Asian weddings in Australia and beyond.I’m Waqar, filmmaker and founder of Cine Wedding Stories, joined by my good mate Nik from Aroha Stories and some of the incredible couples and vendors we’ve worked alongside. Together, we relive love stories, unpack the planning journey, and share honest insights from both sides of the camera. From multi-day marathons to intimate ceremonies, we talk about the traditions, the challenges, and the once-in-a-lifetime moments that make every wedding unforgettable. Think of it as a mix of storytelling, industry secrets, and a little bit of “wish we’d known that before we planned ours.”If you’re engaged, planning, or just love love, The Wedding Edit will give you the laughs, lessons, and inspiration you need to enjoy the journey, not just the big day.Real weddings. Real insights. Real stories.
