Fraternal Charity Add us as a preferred source on Google

This insightful treatise, penned by the Roman Catholic priest Father Valuy, S.J., carries an imprimatur and was originally intended for members of religious orders. However, as the translator aptly observes, the message of love—the sunshine of existence—is universally relevant. The first five chapters explore the foundational principles of fraternal charity, while chapters 6 through 17 delve into twelve distinctive traits that define this virtue. In chapters 18 and 19, youll discover how God exemplifies charity in its most perfect form. Chapters 20 through 30 outline eleven practical ways to nurture charity within a community, and chapters 31 and 32 offer guidance on maintaining this virtue in challenging times. The appendix features reflections from Father Faber on practicing fraternal charity and highlights the exemplary traits of religious individuals who embody this essential virtue.
