Crooks Everywhere exposes the plot to assassinate Daphne Caruana Galizia, a Maltese journalist who spent her life fighting for truth, justice, and decency in a country overrun by corruption. Join investigative journalists Manuel Delia and John Sweeney as they uncover the mystery behind Daphne’s murder and amplify the discoveries the killers were trying to silence. Because of the extent of her investigations, Daphne had many enemies, but only now, seven years later, has the truth of her assassination come to light. Listen and discover how Malta came to be a place where crime and politics merge, where murder became a commonplace currency, and where one woman sacrificed everything to speak the truth.  Daphne’s fearless voice is brought to life by Sienna Miller, who reads extracts from this inimitable journalist.  Crooks Everywhere is a production of iHeartPodcasts, Topic Studios and Vespucci.   The voice of Daphne Caruana Galizia is played by Sienna Miller.
