I made a leather thimble out of scraps I saved from some old boots. I left the thread tied in a bow in case I need to adjust it later, so now my middle finger feels very sexy. 🌝
@linguacelta suggested superglueing a second piece of leather inside on the pad, and the result is rock hard. Great idea!

Here's how my improvised sleeve draft turned out. I'm surprised it's at all usable on my first attempt. It's fairly smooth with high range motion. I marked a horizontal-ish line on the muslin so I can mark it on the pattern.
I drafted it by adding a horizontal line for the widest part of my bicep and curving the underarm seam out towards it. Experimented with several cap heights to find one that
