Two months in and Martin Pl is getting so busy that the Hunter St escalators are already becoming a bit of bottleneck! They clear pretty quick but the next train is never far away.

GOSFORD, 81km from Central, is a large station serving a dense neighbourhood of high-rise buildings, shops and community facilities. It has three platforms and a bus interchange, with a brick-and-glass concourse above, housing lifts, gates and a number of shops. (1/5)

LISAROW, 88km from Central, is a small station serving low-density suburbia and industry. It's basically the same as the previous stations on the line, with 2 platforms, a footbridge with lifts and some basic shelters. The local shops are 10min walk away, not awful but not ideal.

NARARA, 85km from Central, is a small, basic station serving low-density suburbia. It has 2 platforms with small steel shelters, accessed from a uncovered footbridge with recently added lifts. It's situated on quiet backstreets with just housing around, a big contrast to Gosford!

The east exit leads onto a narrow road bridge, with houses beyond. Not the most inviting station entrance I've seen.
To the west is a car park, a small shopping centre and a school.
Another lightly used station in sprawl that could be more.
NIAGARA PARK, 86km from Central, is a small station serving suburbia and a handful of shops. It is in a similar style to others on this stretch of the line, with two platforms, a footbridge, new lifts with concrete towers, some basic steel…

The west exit is more understated, leading to more towers, a large hospital and a large commuter car park. Beyond is the rail yard.
It's a city in its own right, with more urban infill is underway and plenty of cranes in the sky!
To the east is the main station exit and the bus interchange. Here there is a park and a pedestrian bridge across to a neighbouring building. This side is the Gosford CBD, with many businesses, a large shopping centre, a stadium and towers…
The concourse features large glass curtain walls and a pitched ceiling with skylights. Next to the gates is another shop, and there are exits on both sides. There's a few pieces of railway heritage on display, including clocks and this old…
The platforms are wide with plenty of shelter. The southbound platform has a turnstile gate for public use, something I've not seen elsewhere.
The northbound platforms have a cafe with seating. Useful given the infrequent service here, but…

The plan was to have another exit on O'Connell St, with a tunnel from the platform under Hunter St. But that site is now for the Hunter St Station. The underground walkway will still happen, but I don't think the plans on how it'll all fit…
This motorway from Transurban's Westconnex to the middle of suburbia in Kogarah, just 4km away, is on track to cost about the same as the CBD & South East Light Rail project. Even with all the LR's dramas and legal battles.
