OK, let the healing begin. 🙂 Near the floppy port, some of the parts around the capacitor looked a bit corroded. No characteristic "fish" smell though. I still decided to replace a few components.

I had to take a long break for family reasons. Finally it's time to resume with my Amiga 4000 restauration. 🙂
The PCB that is going to fix the damaged RTC area, is completed and ordered now. It will be delivered next week.
Sufficient time to remove the old SIMM sockets, and then ring out all the tracks. I guess there is a lot to fix.
Very slow progress, but at least some progress.
