I have officially completed the Giant Switch project, with the successful sourcing and installation of a proper handle. :D
Throwing this switch turns on the arcade corner. ....of course, I'm not running mains voltage through it; there's a 5v signal from a raspi pin, which then triggers a physical relay attached to a power strip.
It's such a silly project, but I'm still proud of how it came out!
