Hi! Architecture

The classifications imposed on us by design history — furniture, artwork, object — are no longer sufficient to explain anything. We are not entirely sure what it is that we produce; perhaps a chair, perhaps a sculpture, perhaps merely a possibility. We do not consider this ambiguity a flaw, but rather the very condition of design itself. We refuse to ask an object only “How is it used?” and instead ask “What does its presence imply?”
