Here’s my black sundress! I made it in black cotton swiss dot, lined in black lawn. I used Domum’s Circle dress pattern, but I did 4 muslins to get the fit right. The muslin here was as drafted before adjustments - I did an fba, changed the angle of the shoulders, and did a full bodice lining instead of binding. I also changed the pockets to be waist anchored. There is no school anywhere remotely near me that has a sewing related program so I am just going to work on other artistic pursuits and find ways to apply them to what I enjoy most.
I am starting art school next month, which I'm excited about, since I have failed for many years at getting a finance degree.
